Activity Attendant (Summer)

Purpose of the position

The position will:

Assist with programs, events, and services to meet community needs. Provide direct support to patrons, participants, staff, and instructors. Provide ideas, suggestions, and recommendations regarding programs, supplies and equipment. Monitor activities of users during leagues, drop in and public times in fieldhouses and arenas. Support safety and risk management related to programs, events, and services.

Be a minimum of 16 years of age. Bring knowledge of basic sport and activities skills and rules. Demonstrates an interest and caring attitude in working with children and public. Have the ability to work with and include all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in professional manner. Be well-developed in public relations skills.

Position details:

Salary range is: - (along with full access to the Bold Center and Pool) Full-time Summer position – (May - end of season) Hours: Based on a 40-hour workweek. Working days and evenings/weekends as needed. Preference will be given to qualified Lac La Biche County residents.

Candidates must currently be enrolled and returning to full-time studies in the fall of 2024
