This is an internship starting in June 2024 For a Power Engineering Student to obtain steam time - upon completion of the work term, students must be returning to school.

This position reports to the Operations Supervisors and is located in Redwater, Alberta, Canada and  is not  available for remote work.

What you will do:

Monitor and operate equipment and associated systems within standard operating conditions and limits Obtain Steam time working with the Shift Engineer Perform duties in a safe manner with a consistent awareness for well-being of all employees

What you will bring:

Attendance in a 1st year of a Power Engineering Technology Diploma Program Working towards ABSA fourth class steam ticket Previous related work experience in an industrial/mechanical setting is preferred Ability to work in a team environment Exhibit exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills Sound written and verbal communication skills Ability to work rotating shift schedule (days and nights) of 12 hours per shift
