We are seeking Skilled Labourers or Tradespeople to work in various capacities at the cement plant in Picton.  The ideal candidate would be a Mechanic, Millwright, Heavy Industrial Skilled Labour, or an apprentice of all varieties.

In this role, the candidate will install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot various machines and equipment within the plant. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally for safety reasons.

Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable working on your feet & able to lift 50lbs without struggling. 
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
  • Must be comfortable cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, jackhammering
  • Must have own transportation
  • Must have approved steel toe footwear. High-vis vest and hard hat are preferred but can be provided.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and good time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance is preferred.
  • Eye for detail is a must.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
