Duties:

Ordering parts for heavy duty trucks, trailers, and yard equipment. Ordering shop supplies and building supplies. Professionally dealing with internal customer requests and outside vendors. Use of several manufacturer’s parts catalogues. Shipping and receiving duties. Inventory control via billing parts on work order software, and annual inventory counts. Creating and receiving purchase orders on dedicated payables software. Operation of the parts vehicle to pick up orders from vendors and perform internal deliveries. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company Safety Manual and OH&S Regulations. General shop and yard duties. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Parts department experience or mechanical aptitude considered an asset. Class 5 Driver’s License required. Must have a clean driver's abstract. Ability to work independently or in a team. Positive attitude and desire to grow with a company. Excellent customer service and organizational skills.  Computer literacy an asset for future development. A criminal record check will be required.
