About the Role:

Maximizer is currently seeking an innovative, strategic, and collaborative Head of Product. This role embodies player-coach leadership by directly contributing as a product manager as well as working close with the VP of Product & Engineering to help lead a team of product managers across Maximizer’s various product lines. It requires engagement with multiple internal stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Account Management, and our Professional Services functions. You will also work directly with Maximizer customers and partners. To succeed in this role, you must be innovative, strategic, tactical, and a strong communicator - both defining vision and driving delivery. You should have a bias towards action.

What you’ll do:

Define the long-term strategy and vision for the product, leveraging broad customer research, customer experience and new technologies to deliver features to our customersBring value addition by thinking big and continuously pitching new product ideasDrive requirement definition, customer experience design, product roadmap and prioritizationManage and develop a group of product managers into a high-performing team implementing best-in-class B2B SaaS product practicesAlongside other product leaders, continually improve the product organization's processes, with particular focus on thorough product discovery, written definition, user flows, and design validationDefine, prioritize, and drive delivery of the Maximizer product vision, strategy, and roadmapDrive product definition and support product delivery in partnership with UX and EngineeringEstablish consistent, sustainable customer and stakeholder input points to steer product direction, feature design, and prioritizationDevelop and monitor product KPIs and metrics driving the business feedback loopPrepare and present product-related updates for different levels in the organizationSupport internal stakeholders including product marketing and sales with product information, messaging, and positioning

Who you are & what you'll bring:

6+ years of experience in product management1+ years managing and mentoring a team of product managersPrior experience in mid-market B2B software strongly preferredGreat presentation style, teamwork, and communication skillsDemonstrated product ownership skills, including product definition, backlog management, writing user stories, leading grooming, and facilitating developmentStrong product management skills, including product discovery, roadmap, prioritization, negotiation, and consensus buildingStrong storytelling and ability to communicate effectively with individuals, managers, and executivesBachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
