Redevelopment Project Coordinator

Reporting to the General Manager andsupporting the ownership capital team responsibilities andessential job functions include but are not limited to thefollowing:
- Workclosely and effectively communicate with the ownership group hotelleadership Accor Design Technical Services and all other projectstakeholders on redevelopment project planning design documentationpermitting procurement contracts and executioncoordination
- Responsible for onpropertycoordination of contractors and FF&E installers duringredevelopment project execution
- AssistDepartment heads with planning approvals submittals and workflowsprocurement and implementation of Operating and Technology capitalprojects
- Responsible for onsite coordination ofrefurbishment and infrastructure capitalprojects.
- Maintaining relationships withvarious departments in the hotel to facilitate all aspects ofproject coordination
- Responsible forrepresenting Accor to all contacts external and internal inaccordance to our mission vision values andpurpose
- Responsible for assisting in thecoordination of labour to meet project demands and deliveryschedules
- Responsible for review of supplieddrawings and specifications for operational and physicalconcerns
- Responsible for completion of capitalexpenditure forms and obtaining applicablequotes
- Responsible for ensuring that allprojects and assignments meet AccorStandards
- Accurately process capital projectsinvoices
- Consolidate and track all authorityfor expenditures purchase orders capital invoices ensuring properdocumentation management and overall project budgets are properlyreconciled
- Assist with gathering documents forvarious audits as required
- Maintainwellorganized records of meeting notes complex spreadsheetsoperation & maintenance manuals and various other hard& digital files
- Develop a strongunderstanding of the 5yr & 10yr capital visions for theproperty and make sound business decisionsaccordingly
- Weekly dissemination ofconstruction activity reports on site to hoteldepartments
- Conduct monthly housing and feedingreconciliation to ensure project budgets are properly reconciledwith other project costs
- Responsible foradhering to Health & Safety Responsibilities as per Health& Safety Policy
- Other duties asassigned
Qualifications:
- Projectmanagement and understanding of project budgets schedules andscopes
- Strong understanding of hotel operationsincluding all operating departments corefunctions
- Familiarity with facilitiescomponents and building systems (HVAC electrical building exteriorsetc.)
- Familiarity with Hospitality FF&Eand OS&E
- Excellent computer skillsacross all Microsoft Window applications; ability to quickly learninternetbased computer applications
- Fundamentalaccounting and budget managementexperience
- Strong interpersonal andproblemsolving abilities
- Ability to organizeand plan workload; adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines;exercise good judgment and make sounddecisions
- Ability to establish and maintainpositive working relationships with a variety of individuals withinand outside the organization
- University/Collegedegree in a related discipline an asset
- Abilityto work well under pressure and adapt asnecessary
- Highly organized and processoriented
- Ability to display and ensureaccountability of yourself and others
- PreviousSupervisory or leadership qualitiesdemonstrated
- Ability to function bothselfdirected and within a team
- Ability to makedecisions and direct asrequired
