Reports to the Scissors Creek Shaft Supervisor.

This is a one year Special Assignment position.

What you will do:

Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with Nutrien safety policies and procedures Responsible for safe operation of production and service hoists Assist with servicing and inspecting equipment in the Shaft area Support continuous improvement programs by helping to maintain equipment records and repair history and providing data for cause and failure analysis

What you will bring:

Grade 12 or GED  3 to 5 years of mining experience strongly preferred, but not required A stable work record Demonstrated commitment towards safety Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Hoist Operator Certificate if requested Ability to work around open holes and heights Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team
