As a senior business development advisor, you have advanced knowledge in finance and contribute to the marketing of mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to sales teams and financial advisors across the Desjardins networks and intermediary networks at the pan-Canadian level. The person must know how to create the narrative and write marketing and training tools, from a B2B perspective, for their product ranges and financial markets. They must also know how to animate their training in front of their target audience, which are the sales teams. You assume a leadership and influential role with various stakeholders in the context of projects involving development and strategic complex interventions, of a transversal and highly innovative nature. In this regard, you contribute to the development and recommendation of strategic orientations and business positioning. The nature of the projects requires extensive and in-depth expertise in your field. You formulate recommendations related to the development and implementation of projects with very high operational and conceptual complexity. These require a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and understanding of the business domain and the organization. The alignments are numerous. You are called upon to interact with a very large number of stakeholders working in various fields of expertise. Mastery of interpersonal relationships then becomes an essential skill. You play a role as an expert consultant and content provider in your field and act as a resource person and coach for senior management and governing bodies. You will be required to :

Ensure the promotion and marketing of mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) by developing storytelling and various strategies to promote sales growth among partners

Provide support to partners in their business development by creating training, tools, and sales pitches for their product ranges, capital and financial markets, and the economy

Conduct specialized training related to its product ranges and the FundCompare illustration software, highlighting the offer provided by the organization

Target new business opportunities, oversee the development of marketing strategies, develop action plans and ensure their dissemination to sales and advisors. Develop different concepts supporting the sale of products

Contribute to the development of new products that meet specific market needs

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience in business development and B2B environments

Possession of a CFA, a financial planner's license, or a bachelor's degree in economics is desirable

Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec

Advanced Proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
