About the Job:

The Sama Product Team is building 2D and 3D annotation tools at the intersection of humans and AI/ML technology, enabling our teams to deliver secure, high-quality training data and validation for the technology teams driving humanity forward. We're looking for an enthusiastic, idealistic Product Manager who loves to create innovative, intuitive and efficient tools to distill product features that have business impact

You’ll be working collaboratively with our global team and work force of over 4,000 data annotation specialists - a large number of whom are located in East Africa - to combine the proper combination of software applications, data collection and reporting, and business process reengineering. We're playing in a huge space with lots of technical complexities. We’d like a candidate that will blend impeccable attention to detail with an intuitive sense for product. If you know when to build vs buy, love to integrate complex solutions, can listen to users, summarize their needs into product requirements, and can align stakeholders from diverse parts of the business, we need your help to re-imagine work

Key Responsibilities: 

Own in the planning and execution of product requirements for 3D Sensor Fusion annotation platform, under the guidance of staff/senior product management.Manage expectations at all levels including senior leadershipContribute to the roadmap for development, understanding the decision-making behind ROI tradeoffs. Contribute to core KPIs for SamaSuccessfully bring key features developed by our ML team into productionCollaborate with Product Operations on experiments, early adoption and product releases. Help monitor and report on core KPIs for the product.Advocate Sama technology externallyCollaborate with our Design team to build the best productsCollaborate with our Engineering teams to build scalable complex solutionsCollaborate with Marketing for the Goto Market for new Annotation Tool productsCollaborate with technical writers to produce relevant product documentationCollaborate with SVP of Tech on cross functional strategic initiativesAssisting in planning and execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams under supervision.Work closely with senior PMs to gain insights into complex product development, participating in product strategy sessions, and helping in the coordination of product development cycles.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or practical skills acquired through a combination of education and relevant projects or internships.0-2 years of product management or similar experience in related field.Eager to learn complex concepts in product development Willingness for occasional travel to delivery centers to facilitate workshops and work directly with delivery center agents and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

Eager to learn high complexity 3D concepts and communicate them to industry expertsPrevious experience working on 2D or 3D user tools (e.g. Photoshop or Blender)Interest in startup environments and agile methodologiesSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.Great at solving hard problemsBe detail orientedAbility to work effectively with remote teams and a willingness to learn about working across different cultures and time zones.Familiarity with software development processes and basic understanding of machine learning concepts. Strong interest and history of doing work that makes a difference

Vous travaillerez en collaboration avec notre équipe mondiale et notre force de travail composée de plus de 4 000 spécialistes de l'annotation de données, dont un grand nombre sont situés en Afrique de l'Est, pour combiner la bonne combinaison d'applications logicielles. Nous jouons dans un espace immense avec beaucoup de complexités techniques. Nous recherchons un candidat qui alliera une attention impeccable aux détails avec un sens intuitif du produit. Responsabilités:

Être responsable de la planification et de l'exécution des exigences du produit pour la plate-forme d'annotation 3D Sensor Fusion, sous la direction de la direction des produits.Gérer les attentes à tous les niveaux, y compris la haute directionContribuer à la feuille de route du développement, en comprenant la prise de décision derrière les compromis en matière de retour sur investissement.Contribuer aux KPI de base de SamaMettre en production avec succès les fonctionnalités clés développées par notre équipe MLCollaborer avec les opérations produit sur les expériences, l'adoption précoce et les versions de produits.Aider à surveiller et à créer des rapports sur les KPI de base du produit.Défendre la technologie Sama en externeCollaborez avec notre équipe de conception pour créer les meilleurs produitsCollaborer avec nos équipes d'ingénierie pour créer des solutions complexes évolutivesCollaborer avec le marketing pour le marché Goto pour les nouveaux produits de l'outil d'annotationCollaborer avec les rédacteurs techniques pour produire une documentation produit pertinenteCollaborer avec le vice-président principal de la technologie sur des initiatives stratégiques interfonctionnellesAider à la planification et à l'exécution, en coordination avec les équipes interfonctionnelles sous supervision.Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les PM senior pour obtenir des informations sur le développement de produits complexes, en participant à des sessions de stratégie produit et en aidant à la coordination des cycles de développement de produits.

Qualifications:

Baccalauréat en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe, ou compétences pratiques acquises grâce à une combinaison d'études et de projets ou de stages pertinents.0 à 2 ans d'expérience en gestion de produits ou expérience similaire dans un domaine connexe.Désire d'apprendre des concepts complexes dans le développement de produits de perception par fusion de capteurs 3DVolonté de se rendre occasionnellement dans les centres de livraison pour animer des ateliers et travailler directement avec les agents et les dirigeants des centres de livraison.
