What you’ll do:

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

Providing a positive and friendly guest experience.  Taking beverage orders from customers or servers and serving drinks as requested. Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws and glassware. Maintain a positive attitude while providing an exemplary guest experience.  Cleaning, restocking and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift. Navigate and operate the POS System. Contribute to the team in living the corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned.

You are looking for a career in Food Service Industry and:

Previous bartending experience an asset. Knowledge and appreciation for beer and wine pairings is an asset. Valid Serving it Right Certificate Must have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a team setting as well as independently in a fast-paced environment Must have a strong work ethic This is a physical job requiring the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on occasion Must be committed to a SAFE working environment Must be 19 years of age or older to be considered. This position is based out of the Highwayman Pub , though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise. Preferred candidates will have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts 7 days a week.
