The role: As the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) you will play a critical role in helping the company operate better including influential business partnerships yielding effective outcomes, examination and key insights of actual results against budget, along with expectations of future trends to support management in building action plans and more. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will be the central consolidation point for all of FP&A with the Senior Manager, FP&A (Data & Systems), where the full view of our financial results comes together in support of monthly executive financial reviews followed by external monthly board reporting (focus on financial performance & forecasts). 

What you will do:

Rolling Forecast along with Annual Planning: You will be responsible for consolidating our rolling forecasts with the director, that we will review with executives against our annual planning, prioritizing clarity, in-depth analysis along with assessment of risks and mitigations paths. This requires taking ownership and cross teams alignment such as bookings, revenue, cash view, risks and opportunities assessment.

Monthly Financial Performance: Own the monthly actuals performance against budget & forecast and clearly identify variances (against backdrop of historical & planned future performance) and provide meaningful recommendations to solve any issues at hand, via effective story-telling. Be the critical FP&A business partner: You will be expected to be a key player to drive our Platform and Services P&L along with managing all other Expenses (G&A, S&M, R&D) with the FP&A Team against the backdrop of key drivers, and help make informed decisions across the organization.

You will provide thoughtful solutions and recommendations, in order to drive business outcomes and support company growth. You will be constantly at the forefront of helping our departments make efficient and effective recommendations around hiring, optimizing our tech stack, along with guiding hosting costs, among other expenses, that’s clear, informed, and keeping scaling at the forefront of our minds.

Champion Systems & Scale Processes: You will support the Senior Manager, FP&A Systems, in our goal to make a scalable financial model that’s iterative to the changing business needs, along with scaling our FP&A operational tasks so that the team can focus on areas that are complex and require the team’s support and attention.

Other Operational Responsibilities: A. Cash Management: Work closely with the Financial Operations team in intricately forecasting, tracking and reporting on our Cash management, especially our expenses.
B. Managing the Hiring Plan: Manage our hiring plan with an analyst, by providing meaningful insights (hiring velocity, vacancy, etc.) that informs key hiring decisions to ensure we hit our company roadmaps and milestones. 

About You:

CPA, CFA or CBV designation preferred 5-7 years of experience in FP&A and financial modeling Experience working for PE backed portfolio companies (Preferably SaaS focused) with maturing processes, or have grown extensively with a company that went public.  A proven leader with the ability to effectively manage and develop an FP&A team An excellent communicator and presenter with an ability to influence, with strong interpersonal skills.  An excellent problem solver, with an ability to build collaborative relationships with innovative stakeholders from various functions to help pilot change-management initiatives. Be a great culture builder - we are a small team, and it’s important to drive culture together.  High information processing will be a tremendous asset given high volume, and requirement of agility in the environment - prioritizing quality and rigor.  A track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Experience with Adaptive Insights and NetSuite preferable. A self-starter who thrives on delivering results strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to identify and communicate strategic opportunities To have the mindset of being a builder.  Working in an EST timezone is strongly preferred
