Position Overview

:

This position is responsible for providing support to the Merchandisers and assist with facilitating trading activities and coordinating logistics for the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

Gain a working knowledge of Trade Group operations including but not limited to sales, logistics, general operations and originations. Focus on customer service and generate value for the customer and company from all current and potential marketing opportunities. Develop and support strong relationships with both current and new customers Provide trading and logistics support to Merchandisers and Account Representatives Perform basic report updates and maintenance

What is expected of you and others at this level:

Knowledge of grain and the transportation industry Knowledge of futures, basis, spreads, currency, grain movement, marketing skills and a general knowledge of sales techniques Self-motivated and has strong negotiation skills and ability Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems Receives instruction, guidance and direction Performs routine assignments

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree required (or the equivalent in work experience) 1-3 years’ relevant experience required
