POSITION:
Full-time Elementary teacher. Partner Solutions is seeking a certified Elementary teacher for West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics (WMAAA), a public school academy in Spring Lake, MI.
DUTIES:
Include teaching all core academic subjects. Other duties include, but are not limited to, attending regular staff meetings, serving on school -related committees and participating in professional growth and development conferences.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be K -5 teacher-certified. Applicants must have the ability to connect with a community of families, teachers and administrators. Must meet the Federal Standards of No Child Left Behind.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Workshop teaching SIOP, WIDA standards and assessments desired, but not required. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is desired, but not required. Knowledge and experience teaching in an ELL program. Exhibits superior organizational and communication skills Compassionate; willing to collaborate Knowledgeable about recent research in pedagogy in the field of second language acquisition and ELL education.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, organizes, and provides pull out/push in instruction in English in the Core Curriculum Content Standards and WIDA English Language Proficiency Standards for grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Develops and delivers lesson plans that ensure learners meet or exceed learning targets, and allow English learners to meaningfully access the district’s instructional program. Administers academic and language assessments. Maintains complete and accurate records of student’s progress and evidence of growth and progress. Establish and maintain communication with parents of students in the program. Attends professional English Language Acquisition meetings. Understands and complies with the policies, rules, and regulations regarding the English learners. Performs such other and not specifically enumerated duties as may be requested by the Board of Education, superintendent, or established by the School Code.Company Benefits:
