The role of the Plant Maintenance Technician- Millwright is to diagnose and repair a wide range of pieces of equipment and utilities used within the precast manufacturing plants. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Positions located in Harley, ON (between Brantford and Woodstock).

Your day to day:

Perform all duties in a safe mannerWork with other Maintenance team members to accomplish tasksOperate equipment such as overhead cranes, concrete batching system, genie booms, boom trucks, forklifts and other hand powered toolsTroubleshoot and test equipment Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment Weld and fabricate as requiredFacilitate the start-up and installation of new equipmentSchedule maintenance along with production requirementsPerform routine preventative maintenance and monitoring of all equipmentSource suppliers and parts for equipmentMaintain maintenance logs on equipment, where requiredMaintain inventory of spare parts and suppliesWork flexible hours when required

What you bring:

Licensed in the tradeKnowledge of trades related to equipment Proficient in the use of all tools of trade,Minimum of five (5) years practical working experience, andStrong work ethic and highly motivated.
