Responsibilities:
  • Following direction from your direct manager.
  • Understanding and complying with Environmental Health & Safety policies.
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
  • Performing inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Operating, maintaining, servicing, and installing HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Installing wiring and cabling, calibrating related controls.
  • Measuring, cutting, bending, and connecting pipes to functional components.
  • Collaborating with vendors and organizing work logistics.
  • Preparing work estimates and appropriately scheduling work.
  • Operating DDC software and monitoring system alerts.
  • Developing SOPs and documentation as needed.
  • Conducting troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
  • Maintaining assigned tools and equipment safely.
  • Ensuring safe seasonal start-ups and shutdowns of HVAC systems.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on HVAC/Refrigeration equipment.
  • Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning license.
  • G1 or G2 gas license.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work at multiple locations.
  • Ontario Freon Handling (ODP) license.
  • Boiler experience and maintenance skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and be on-call as needed.
