Position and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end training development using a systematic approach to training. A systematic approach to training is the application of the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model in a way that meets regulatory requirements. This includes performing needs analyses, designing training plans, developing training for face-to-face and eLearning, implementing face-to-face and virtual training, and evaluating learning and training effectiveness. This position may train within our production facilities and requires working onsite full-time. The Port Hope Conversion Facility (PHCF) both converts chemicals and produces nuclear material used to power a clean air world.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
College or university degree Certificate in adult education, complete or in-progress (preferred) Conduct needs analyses, including task analysis and content analysis Design training based on results from the needs analysis Develop engaging classroom training that meets learning objectives Strong facilitation skills in the classroom and using virtual platforms Ability to provide technical or hard skills training Experience evaluating learning through a variety of methods Familiar with the administration of a learning management system (preferred) and SharePoint libraries Excellent communication and proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within the team and with stakeholders Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work independently toward established goalsAssets:
Basic knowledge of chemistry is ideal Ability and interest in continuous learning and self-development Focus on safety for self and othersApplicants will be considered for a level within the job progression, which is appropriate to their qualifications.
