JOB DESCRIPTION

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

Be responsible for the 4-cycle engine and/or transmission calibration projects. Perform engine injection system adjustments with the aim of optimizing polluting emissions, fuel savings, performance and driving quality, while taking into account project constraints (cost, integration, etc.). Collaborate with the development of powertrain group control software. Coordinate and take part in optimization trials using a chassis dynamometer, track and engine dynamometer. Work on diagnosing system failure modes and the effects on the vehicle. Determine calibration methods to reduce development time and increase engine function robustness.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

Engineer’s diploma in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation or robotics Relevant experience in the development of internal combustion engines or mechatronic systems Knowledge of engine control strategies (reduction of polluting emissions, performance, reliability, certification, etc.) would be an advantage Fluency in English and French is required for daily interaction with suppliers who may be outside Quebec. Awareness of new technologies in the field of engines and vehicles Enthusiasm for motor sports and mechanics Dynamic and motivated by new challenges
