Rainy River Mine
Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River Mine is an open pit, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.
The Rainy River Mine, located adjacent to the Ontario / Minnesota border is 65 Kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. If you enjoy outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, winter sports and lake country then this is an area you will love to live and work in.
About The Role
Schedule: Shift 5/2/4/3 with 9 hour shifts
Position Reports To: Site Services Supervisor
Position Overview
The role of Site Services Electrician is to perform proactive and corrective maintenance duties for the Site Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate work activities with other construction projects. Actively participate in developing and building preventative maintenance schedules and objectives. Support all departmental initiatives and assist other trades as needed. Communicate with other trades workers to coordinate maintenance activities. Complete work orders as assigned by the Site Services Supervisor. Report back to Site Services Supervisor regarding status and completion of assigned work.Qualifications
Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent. Red Seal Electrician Relevant trade designation / certification, with dual trade in Millwright, Petroleum Mechanic, Gas Fitter or HVAC is considered a strong asset. Basic computer skills and knowledge in SAP. 5 years of relevant experience within an industrial or mining setting. Working in various weather conditions. Able to work at heights Safety conscious and team oriented Safe operation of Site Services Equipment such as man lift, telehandler, skid steer or loader.
