About the Role:
Reporting
The Avionics/Electronics Technician reports directly to the Avionics Shop Manager.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft as assigned to them and as required under supervision by a licensed technician.
- Ensure all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities.
- Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately.
- Report unserviceable equipment to their assigned licensed technician and/or lead technician.
- Notify assigned licensed and/or lead technician of all defects discovered during routine maintenance.
- Communicate when tasks are complete so next trade can move onto the job.
- Attend and complete training courses as assigned by company management.
- Ensure work environment is safe and clean.
- Promote company values, vision and mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship.
- Employee is expected to work towards obtaining their "E" license.
Experience
- Currently attending a Transport Canada approved AME program or Completed a Transport Canada approved AME program.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
