Qualifications:
Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario. Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program. Preferably, with 1-3 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation and Functional Assessment, an asset. New Graduates licensed as Kinesiologists are welcome to apply.Key Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist. Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs. Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing. Record functional and subjective findings in client charts regularly. Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals. Conducted group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education for clients. Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge. Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart.Lifemark welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
