What You Will Do:
Be accountable for the design of automated and manual test plans for our hardware and software products. Interfacing with marketing, product managers and the systems team to create robust and complete requirements. Defining, together with the software architect, functional and performance requirements, design, code and testing to meet schedule for production releases. Exploring new advancements in positioning and finding ways to incorporate them into our products. Driving the design and verification of software features throughout the product lifecycle. Supporting the development and enhancement of GNSS and GNSS augmentation technology. Collaborating with verification designers to plan and execute tests, and to develop automated test suites. Analyzing data using graphical and statistical tools to evaluate solutions and identify and investigate possible firmware defects. Support escalated customer support cases through to resolution. Be responsible for product testing, including formal testing and ad-hoc testing. Be responsible for providing product feedback. Assist with the creation of acceptance criteria for new features. Participate in the development of technical manuals and training materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field. Experience in C/C++ software development, debugging and troubleshooting. Experience with RTOS and embedded firmware development. Experience with scripting languages such as Python. Experience working with GIS tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo. Familiarity with geospatial libraries and frameworks, such as GDAL, PostGIS, or GeoTools. Experience with RESTful or GraphQL Web APIs. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing progressive web applications using ReactJS, Angular is a plus. Knowledge of geospatial web services (e.g., WMS, WFS, RESTful APIs) Experience with time-series databases like Influx DB or similar tools like Prometheus, Timescale DB, Datadog etc., Experience in Oil and Gas business domain is a plus.
