We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, MRO Data Entry Specialist. This position is a full-time 1-year contract. If you have what it takes for this job, then we want you in our team

JOB SUMMARY :

The MRO Data Entry Specialist works with multiple departments to review, understands, and updates all MRO descriptions in SAP to standard description formats. Once complete, they will review and reorganize the storage locations in the MRO Stores Room to improve efficiency of the MRO items for all departments. 

JOB TASKS :

Review current material descriptions of MRO materials. Recommend standard description formats for material groups. Meet with Maintenance and Purchasing teams to confirm description formats. Export current materials to Excel and organize by material group. Update and verify descriptions to new format and reload in ERP. Update material groups as required.  Add additional Material information on SKU’s where required. Update Vendor information including vendor material numbers. Reorganize storage locations to improve efficiency of stores room. Confirm and update all stock locations within ERP.

COMPETENCIES :

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Experience and understanding in Maintenance, Repair and Operational Parts and Supplies. Ability to professionally interact with others at all levels across the organization. Very strong attention to detail. A high level of interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of departments and understand their needs. Identify potential problems, present alternatives, and propose solutions. Able to work in teams and/or on their own and to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a changing environment and be detail oriented. Strong Microsoft Excel, MS Office, Outlook capabilities Experience in SAP a plus.

REQUIRMENTS :

High School Diploma.

PREFERRED :

College Diploma.  6-12 months experience in Data Entry roles.
