Salary Range: $19,722 to $23,328 per year
Location: Grouard
Start Date: when successful candidate is hired
Qualifications:

Student Learning Assistant
Nature and Scope of Work:
Provide various services to students, staff and the community including but not limited to course delivery, site management, student recruitment, marketing, and learning support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Services
Customer service Provide reception (phone, walk-in)Handle inquiriesProvide information on College programsProvide information on Continuing Education & Corporate TrainingCounselling or education planning referrals Schedule appointments for: Educational planningCareer planningFunding Disseminate course/career informationMaintain educational/career resource librariesFacilitate application formsContact applicants as neededApplicant inquiry/follow upApplication and fee collectionRetention Services
Orient students to services and facilityCoach students in time management skillsCoach students in study skillsProvide library assistanceProvide students assistance for Computer useHow to access e-mailHow to access online classesHow to use Moodle for course work and accessing informationProvide Internet assistance and information on proper internet usageAssist students in navigating the Northern Lakes College web siteArrange appropriate learning environmentsRefer students to instructor(s) for remediation or learning consultant if requiredRecruitment Services
