Maintenance Technician

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance Team as we are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Technician responsible for preserving the excellent condition and functionality of our equipment. Future, opportunity for Maintenance Technician Lead position. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

What we’re looking for:

Perform facilities maintenance including preventative/predictive maintenance and repair on various CNC machines and manual plant equipment. Install, replace, repair motors, belts, fuses, filters, bearings, gaskets, valves, controls, fans Light fabrication/welding, as required Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules Order materials and maintain stores, as required Perform other mechanical duties, as required
What you need to succeed: Millwright red seal certification required Basic CNC control skills knowledge, an asset Ability to work all shifts and overtime, as required Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, and part catalogs Demonstrated troubleshooting skills Microsoft office experience required Ability to work in a Team environment and / or independently Exceptional communication and organizational skills
