The Opportunity

Canopy Growth is looking for a Supply Planning Analyst to join its Planning team on a permanent full-time position basis.

Reporting to the Director, Supply Planning, the mandate of the Supply Planning Analyst is to aid in the management, implementation, and continual improvement of the planning processes and enabling tools, and to ensure that Master Planners, managers, and team members are supported on supply plan execution.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the planning department across the following planning areas: Whole Cannabis Flower, Pre-Rolled Cannabis, Ingested Cannabis Extracts, Inhaled Cannabis Extracts, and/or Topical Cannabis Extracts.

Assist in developing strategies for business growth, conducts research, and analyzes data to inform business decisions.

Support to maintain and update production plans and material requirements plans.

Coordinate cross-functionally withing the Canadian business to facilitate the execution of Master Production Plans.

Translate best practices into planning parameters within the advanced planning software.

Collect, collate, and report on relevant data to support the sales and operations planning cycles.

Assist in special projects.

Update and maintain standard operating procedures.

Update analytic parameters and planning parameters within the advanced planning software.

Perform scenario planning within the advanced planning software to facilitate decision making.

Assist in developing strategies for total-lifecycle management of stock keeping units.

Support supply chain product flow by monitoring stock to support inventory norms and targets

Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Background

Post-secondary education in supply chain management or a related field

Knowledge and experience in IBP and/or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

Knowledge in business, strong technical skills, expertise in supply chain management, and experience in supply chain planning

Experience working and collaborating with demand and supply-side professionals as well as individuals from supporting functional areas

Financial aptitude and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Skills required to effectively manage complex and rapidly evolving situations

Communication skills that enable change, problem resolution, mediation, and the ability to successfully work in a team environment

Knowledge and experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software systems

Knowledge and experience working with advanced planning systems (Kinaxis RapidResponse preferred)

Commit to acquiring or already hold one or both of the APICS Certifications below:

Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
