Reporting to the Mine Production Supervisor, this position will be required to performing general labour duties related to mine operations.

What you will do:

Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place Support mining machine operations through manual labour and mobile equipment operation. Work on a rotating shift schedule. Participate in safety meetings and inspections and following standard operating procedures.

What you will bring:

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work rotating shift schedule required: 5-5-4 days and nights Positive safety behaviour and a safety mindset Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour intensive team environment as well as independently Stable work record Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors Willingness to learn and gain required knowledge and experience through training
