Principales responsabilités
• Soutenir la transformation de la fonction de conclusion des résultats financiers par la centralisation et l’optimisation.
• Soutenir le processus de clôture des résultats financiers afin d’assurer l’exactitude et l’exhaustivité des résultats, et ce, en temps opportun. Dans le cadre de cette responsabilité, le titulaire du poste devra :
o Travailler en partenariat avec divers intervenants des unités d’affaires pour comprendre l’entreprise.
o Évaluer et analyser les résultats financiers.
o Gérer les risques et prendre les dispositions nécessaires.
o Soutenir la production de divers rapports internes et externes.
o Préparer, passer en revue ou approuver les processus transactionnels de fin de mois.
o Soutenir l’environnement de contrôle et les exigences en matière de vérification.
o Soutenir divers projets spéciaux.
• Offrir des conseils dans le cadre des nouvelles transactions, des projets, des processus et des normes comptables, afin d’aider l’entreprise à atteindre de bons résultats tout en assurant une solide gouvernance et des contrôles rigoureux.
• Déterminer les éléments des processus d’affaires actuels qu’il conviendrait d’améliorer et/ou aider à la mise en œuvre de changements menant à une efficacité accrue ou à une meilleure efficacité des processus.
• Cerner les lacunes dans les systèmes d’information, les systèmes de données et les outils de production de rapports financiers et collaborer avec les équipes appropriées pour les corriger.
• Déterminer les possibilités technologiques et en tirer parti pour recommander et mettre en œuvre des initiatives d’amélioration des processus en cernant les secteurs de chevauchement et les occasions d’amélioration de l’efficacité.
• Analyser et présenter de l’information financière pour favoriser la prise de décisions à valeur ajoutée
Qualifications essentielles
• Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou en finances, en administration des affaires ou en commerce, ou expérience en production de rapports financiers.
• Titre de CPA ou expérience connexe en finance, un atout.
• Deux à trois ans dans un poste de finances/comptabilité similaire.
• Maîtrise des applications Microsoft, notamment Excel, PowerPoint et Word.
• Connaissance pratique des modules SAP-BI, SAP-FI et des systèmes comptables connexes, un atout.
• Expérience en intelligence artificielle et en apprentissage automatique, un atout précieux.
Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, cette personne sera appelée à interagir avec des parties prenantes anglophones et francophones à travers le Canada.
Qualifications souhaitées
• Capacité de soutenir une culture d’innovation; intérêt personnel pour l’acquisition de compétences dans les dernières tendances numériques et technologiques et ouverture à apprendre de nouveaux outils et de nouvelles façons de travailler.
• Passion pour la compréhension des activités opérationnelles et de leurs liens avec les processus financiers.
• Souci du détail, rapidité et précision.
• Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication écrite et verbale; capacité reconnue de rendre des questions et des processus complexes clairs et compréhensibles.
• Excellent sens de l’organisation et capacité de planifier et d’exécuter de façon autonome de multiples priorités et de faire preuve de calme et de sang-froid en période d’incertitude et de stress.
• Capacité d’établir des relations solides afin d’influencer et d’établir des partenariats avec divers groupes multidisciplinaires et niveaux de direction en vue d’atteindre une vision commune.
• Capacité de prendre l’initiative et d’assumer la responsabilité des problèmes en dirigeant l’étape de résolution.
• Capacité de travailler au sein d’une équipe.
