The operator ensures the proper functioning of electroerosion machines, presses, rollers/benders, machining centers, lathes, etc. The person prepares, programs, adjusts and adjusts EDM machines, controls product quality, sees to maintenance, carries out minor repairs, and uses various electrical and manual tools.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Setting up and starting production
    • Identify the information necessary for adjustment and startup;
    • Inspect and start the machine;
    • Transfer and validate the programs and files in the machine according to the procedure;
    • Create simple programs;
    • Check the first part.
  • Operations of EDM machines
    • Monitor operations;
    • Adjust parameters (cutting/folding/machining/bending) during production;
    • Clean and deburr parts using appropriate methods.
  • Controls and verifications of the quality of the work
    • Check and inspect the quality and integrity of parts;
    • Maintain the machine by properly lubricating and cleaning the mounting components.
  • Mastery of advanced machine tool functions
    • Clean lenses, sharpen punches, adjust and replace tools;
    • Develop, modify, adjust machine parameters;
    • Programming using software - creating, simulating and correcting the program;
    • Optimize programs.
  • Basic tools in production
    • Pneumatic tools;
    • Compressed air equipment
    • Oxy cutting equipment

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • AEC, DES or DEP diploma in a relevant field or a combination of experience and training deemed equivalent;
  • Very good physical skills;
  • Compliance with standards and procedures;
  • Good ability to concentrate;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Basic computer skills.
