Reporting to the Manager ‑ Maintenance & BiomedicalEngineering, the Painter is accountable for the maintenance

and repair of architectural building systems as described below.

Qualifications include:

* Provincial Certificate of Qualifications supported by aCertificate of Apprenticeship

* Experience within the institutional building sector

* A well organized, self motivated team player, possessing strongdecision‑making and problem solving skills, with

the ability to multitask, set priorities, and work with a minimumof supervision

Duties include:

* Patch and repair all interior wall surfaces, apply coatings byroller, brush or spray equipment to all interior and

exterior surfaces. Ability to apply plastic laminate, vinyl andcloth wall coverings

* Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment

* Assist other trades with the maintenance and repair of buildingstructure and systems when required

* Perform any other job duties as required

Salary Range: $30.710
