As the Manager, IT Procurement, you will be responsible for researching and evaluating prospective vendors while also assisting in vendor selection, management, and performance evaluations.
What you'll be doing:
Manage a team of Procurement Specialists (Sourcing & Vendor Relationship)Research and evaluate prospective vendorsNegotiate suppliers’ price, quality of goods, and deadlinesCreate purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and ordersMonitor orders through all stages to completionUpdate and monitor hardware and software inventoryUpdate and maintain contractsWork closely with internal teams to understand procurement needsWork with Accounting team regarding invoicing and paymentsAutomate workflow within theWhat you'll need to be successful:
Must haves:
Vocational studies or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain Management, IT Management, Computer Science, Finance, Law, etc.)3-5 experience working as an IT procurement specialistA minimum of 1-2 years of supervision experienceExperience of at least one ERP with procurement modules (SAP, ServiceNow, etc.)Strong knowledge of the IT industry and market conditionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional interpersonal skills and rapport buildingNice to Have:
