Steele Ford is seeking a Red Seal / Apprentice Technician to join our team.

Annual Salary Range: $37, - $90, + 

Red Seal Technician: $62, – $90, +

Apprentice Technician ($37, - $56,):

Embark on a rewarding journey towards becoming a Red Seal Technician with the support of Steele Auto Groups Road to Red Seal Program We are committed to supporting our apprentices in the Automotive and Collision Trades as they navigate their apprenticeship blocks. We offer Level Bonuses and a Salary Top-Up Plan for all Apprentices

Level Bonuses:

Level 1 to 4: Bonuses paid upon successful completion of each level Red Seal: Red Seal Certification Bonus

Salary Top-Up Plan:

Qualifications:

Passionate about the automotive industry Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills Have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide an acceptable driver’s abstract Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License Must be Red Seal Certified

Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor Complete reports to record problems and work performed Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason, please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.
