Who you are: We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Web Developer who will focus on bringing Geotab’s design and content to life on various platforms. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you What you’ll do: As a Web Developer your key area of responsibility will be This position will build and maintain Geotab’s Marketplace and Store infrastructure by implementing back-end and front-end logic as well as writing unit tests. This is a collaborative role, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully implement builds. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.

How you’ll make an impact:

Extend Geotab’s Marketplace/Store and support platform functionality.  Work with the internal Product managers and designers to elicit requirements, refine them and implement in the most performant and clean way Write SEO-friendly code, make performance audits and ensure the health of developed platforms.  Cover code with Unit Tests. Conduct ongoing testing and code reviews to ensure web applications are responsive, accessible and quick for users’ devices and browsers. Manage workflow and deadlines on multiple projects, and proactively report on project status, improvements, and future possibilities. Support Geotab global strategic initiatives

What you’ll bring to this role:

1-3 years of experience JavaScript/React or other modern client side framework 1-3 years of experience in web development using .NET Core Experience with e-Commerce sites, developer portals, self-help/customer experience portals, and search result speed optimization. Experience with GIT. Experience with responsive layout implementation. Experience with JavaScript and React Experience with dotnet and relational databases is a good to have( PostgreSQL). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal relationship building skills. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. High accuracy and strong attention to detail. Highly organized and self-driven. A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization. Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides.) Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
