Air Borealis is currently seeking applicants for a Flight Follower position in Goose Bay, NL.

Job Duties:

Provide flight following for all Air Borealisflights for the area of operation; Check and monitor weather conditions; Prepare and flight and weather packages for flight crew; Monitor passenger and cargo loads for all flights; Responsible for the daily line up; compiling information, updates accordingly, circulation; Maintain radio communication with all Air Borealis flights; Provide coordination of ground services, counter services and flight crews with respect to arriving and departing flights; Coordinate the aircraft assignments and service ability with maintenance; Coordinate crew assignments with crew schedulers and flight operations while abiding Transport Canada regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); Coordinate the passenger/cargo loads with Commercial to ensure efficient movement of aircraft; Identify and present any impact to the operation or client; Coordinate the loading/unloading of aircraft with Ground Operations; During periods of irregular operations responsible for identifying alternate solutions to a successful operation while working in a team environment; Maintain constant communication with the St. John’s operations center on the status of all flights using the daily line up and company software programs; Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret weather using the Aviation Weather Web Site would be considered an asset. Radio Operators License would be considered an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently is a must. Familiar with Microsoft office products.
