Summary

As a Climate Control Service Technician, you will increase levels of customer service by performing preventive maintenance and making repairs on equipment, along with equipment deliveries and installs as needed in the most effective and cost-efficient way possible to avoid downtime at the customer location.

This role will also be respinsible for deleivering, installing, and retrieving equipment to and from customer job sites. Customer services skills, a sense of urgency and a willingness to go the extra will be part of the role. You will be driving an F250 or service van.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Service equipment as required and avoid unnecessary down-time, ensure proper working condition of equipment when leaving the shop Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as needed Deliver and install climate control related equipment (as needed) Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems Fabricate parts as needed Performs regular and service level safety inspections on equipment Maintains a clean and safe working environment (service truck or shop work station) Meet all company, governmental and equipment-specific safety requirements Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ experience. Sound technical knowledge of propane/ng appliances, equipment and plant operations. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract Oil burning equipment knowledge an asset, willing to train Willing to obtain WHMIS and TDG training/certification. Valid driver’s license with three (3) years’ experience and clean drivers abstract. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis. Excellent customer service and communications skills. Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices. Liquid propane fitter (LP certificate) and asset, willing to train

Base Pay Range: $29.43 - 39.82
