Purpose of the position

Le St-Charles, managed by Cogir, offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for seniors. We are currently looking for a Beneficiary Attendant who will contribute to the quality of life of residents. The Beneficiary Attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care. Permanent full-time position, 9/15, daytime 8:00 to 4:00 Evening bonus applicable. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like : Assist and accompany residents in their travels Collaborate in maintaining the bond of trust with the families or loved ones of the residents as well as with the various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.) Notify the nurse and/or the person in charge of health services of any changes observed in the state of health of the residents Ensure the accompaniment of residents to activities, the dining room and appointments at the home Answer ringtones Respond to all emergency situations In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity . Assist the nursing staff in tasks that require no hands-on care of the resident

Ease and affinity with people with loss of autonomy Client-focused approach Autonomy, dynamism, versatility, sense of organization and initiative Have a strong interest in seniors Good judgment and priority management

Required qualifications :

Good communication Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset Up to date CPR / AED training certificates PDSB training law 90 for medication
