We areseeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team whereyou will play a key role in automating scaling and enhancing oursoftware development and deploymentprocesses.
JobSummary: As a DevOps Engineeryou will be responsible for designing implementing and maintainingthe infrastructure and tools that enable continuous integrationcontinuous delivery and automation across our development andoperations teams. You will work closely with software engineerssystem administrators and other stakeholders to ensure thereliability security and scalability of our applications andsystems.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Designbuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the softwaredevelopmentlifecycle.
- Manageand optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such asTerraform Ansible orCloudFormation.
- Collaboratewith development teams to ensure seamless integration of codechanges into productionenvironments.
- Monitorsystem performance and implement proactive measures to ensure highavailability andscalability.
- Automateroutine tasks such as server provisioning application deploymentand systemmonitoring.
- Managecloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloudensuring costeffective and scalablesolutions.
- Implementand maintain security best practices across the development anddeploymentpipelines.
- Troubleshootand resolve issues related to application performance security andinfrastructure.
- Workclosely with development teams to integrate automated testing andcode quality checks into the CI/CDpipeline.
- Continuouslyimprove and evolve DevOps processes tools and practices to enhanceteam productivity and productquality.
- Createand maintain documentation related to infrastructure deploymentprocesses and systemconfigurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
- 5years of experience in a DevOps or related role with a strongbackground in software development and systemadministration.
- Proficiencyin scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell forautomationtasks.
- Experiencewith CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or TravisCI.
- Strongunderstanding of containerization and orchestration technologieslike Docker andKubernetes.
- Handsonexperience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) andtheir associatedservices.
- Experiencewith infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform Ansible orCloudFormation.
- Knowledgeof monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELKStack orSplunk.
- Strongunderstanding of networking security and system architectureprinciples.
- Excellentproblemsolving and troubleshootingskills.
- Strongcommunication and collaboration skills with the ability to workeffectively in a teamenvironment.
PreferredQualifications:
- Experiencewith microservices architecture and its deployment in cloudenvironments.
- Familiaritywith version control systems particularly Git and best practices inbranching andmerging.
- Relevantcertifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker CertifiedAssociate Certified KubernetesAdministrator).
- Experiencewith serverless architectures and functions as a service(FaaS).
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a DevOpsor related role, with a strong background in software developmentand system administration. Excellent problem-solving andtroubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaborationskills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservicesarchitecture and its deployment in cloud environments. Familiaritywith version control systems, particularly Git, and best practicesin branching and merging. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWSCertified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, CertifiedKubernetes Administrator). Experience with serverless architecturesand functions as a service (FaaS).
