Ourmachinery & equipment department is looking for anEquipmentMaintenance superintendant on site whos responsible forthe implementation and assurance of preventive maintenance programsand the repairs of EBC equipment. The selected candidate will beassigned to the Stanley Park project and will ensure that theobjectives planned for his sector of activity are met whilecontrolling costs in accordance with the directives as well as ISOand health and safety program procedures. Finally the person willalso supervise a group of mechanics and maintenancestaff.


Responsibilities

Ensures the coordination of equipment maintenance and repairswithin established deadlinestooptimize siteproductivity;

Supervises work assignmentsto achieveproductionobjectives whilerespecting the quality and health and safety standards of themaintenancedepartment;

Manages their staff by ensuring that activities are carried out ina safe and healthy environment and that policies and procedures arefollowed;

Ensures communication between site operations andmaintenancedepartment;

Participates in hiring processes and coordinatesthe workschedules of maintenanceemployees;

Ensures that equipment complieswith applicable laws andstandards;

Works with existing business systems and processes of thedepartment and able to use and integratenewtechnologies.




Requirements

Requirements

Heavy equipmentmechanic certification(redseal) or anyequivalent;

Minimum of 5years of experience in a supervisoryposition;

Knowledge ofconstructionregulations;

Knowledge ofMicrosoft office suite such as Excel WordOutlookCMMS.


Skillsand Attitudesrequired

Planning and organizationskills;

Able to work underpressure;

Interpersonalrelationships;

Leadership andprofessionalism.
