Position: Bilingual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Location: Toronto, North York (On-site, 5x/week, Near Sheppard West Station)
Salary: $30 per hour
Job Type: 2-3 month contract

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant (French and English). You will be assisting with managing the reception desk, answering telephone inquiries, switchboard, and other administrative duties.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Welcoming and greeting visitors, answering phone calls that come through the main switchboard
- Managing and following up on work flow through the front reception area including booking boardrooms, managing calendars, arranging for couriers, etc.
- Preparing, maintaining, and updating reports/files
- Maintaining records using database/spreadsheet applications
- Performing administrative tasks as requested
- Liaising with vendors, clients and staff to represent the organization in a highly professional manner

Credentials:

- Secondary school diploma
- Bilingual (English and French Fluency)
- 2+ years of reception or reception/administrative experience in a professional corporate environment – ideal
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to handle multiple calls using phone system
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Great attitude, ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, pro-active attitude
- Ability to work well within a team environment and independently
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
