Job Description

AIM-Recyclage is currently looking for a transport and scales clerk for its Boisbriand site. Under the responsibility of the site director, the balance and transport clerk plays an essential role in the functioning of the department. He or she supports his or her group in administrative, planning, transportation and customer service areas.

  • Perform the opening and closing of daily activities;
  • Greet customers with courtesy by following our procedures and requirements;
  • Direct customers to the site;
  • Answer phone calls and redirect them as needed;
  • Inform customers of the current metal prices;
  • Weigh the material;
  • Make delivery notes in the software;
  • Pay customers;
  • Prepare shipping papers;
  • Ensure the tracking of shipments of materials;
  • Balance the cash register at the end of the day;
  • Communicate relevant information with the recipient;
  • Take care of truck distribution;
  • Perform reports;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Has two (2) to three (3) years of experience in customer service;
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word);
  • Experience in the transportation industry (a major asset).

Additional Information

  • Full-time, permanent position, 100% job security guaranteed;
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. + Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.;
  • Flexible schedule with the possibility of working 4 days a week;
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
