Project Technologist

Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

Victoria, BC

Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Victoria Office.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry specifically related to contaminated sites.

A Day in the life of a Technologist at Pinchin:

Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites and the sampling of soil, groundwater and vapourReport writing and overall project supportSupport project scope development and implementationPhase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI’s)Conduct historical and regulatory researchPrepare, review, and edit technical reportsLiaise with subcontractorsWork in a both self-lead and team environmentsLiaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representativesBegin to develop and maintain positive client relationships 

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in a field related to Environmental Science2 to 3 years’ related experienceExcellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solveStrong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookAvailability to travel for work within the Lower Mainland. Occasional travel within other areas of BC and other provinces may be requiredValid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated) Availability to work outside of core business hours
