Gas Fitter B

What you’ll do:

Present a positive image in customer service while installing propane tank systems and related equipment for various local customers, up to 400,000 BTUs. Conduct scheduled inspections for customers, filling plants and service trucks, assessing potential hazards and reporting as required. Adhere to all standard work procedures/policies, industry codes, and regulations, with a high standard of safety in all operations.

The Team:  You will work with other service technicians, propane drivers, and will report to the Propane Sales & Operations Supervisor on a team that strives for a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance. 

The Customers:  You will install equipment for and support customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Propane Gas Fitting and:

Have a minimum of 3 years of related gas fitting experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Have a Class B Gas Fitter ticket, and a grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Have a valid Class 5A or 3A drivers license or are willing to obtain one. A valid crane ticket or are willing to obtain one. Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose equipment, moving cylinder tanks and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs. Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems. Are a self-starter who works well independently with strong organizational skills and time management.
