Asa Plumbing Inspector you will be responsible for inspectingplumbing systems and installations to ensure they comply with localplumbing codes safety regulations and standards. Your role will beessential in maintaining the safety functionality and compliance ofplumbing systems within thejurisdiction.


KeyResponsibilities:
  • Inspectplumbing systems installations and equipment to ensure compliancewith local plumbing codes safety standards andregulations.
  • Reviewplumbing plans and blueprints to verify they meet all requiredcodes andstandards.
  • Conductinspections of residential commercial and industrial plumbingsystems at various stages of construction andinstallation.
  • Identifyand document violations deficiencies or hazards in plumbing systemsand recommend correctiveactions.
  • Preparedetailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records ofinspections compliance and enforcementactions.
  • Providetechnical guidance and support to plumbers contractors and propertyowners regarding plumbing codes and safetypractices.
  • Respondto inquiries and complaints related to plumbing installations andcodecompliance.
  • Stayupdated on changes in plumbing codes regulations and industry bestpractices to ensure accurate inspections andrecommendations.
  • Collaboratewith other municipal departments and agencies to address andresolve plumbingrelatedissues.

Requirements
  • Relevantcertification or diploma in Plumbing Inspection Plumbing Technologyor a relatedfield.
  • Provenexperience as a plumbing inspector or in a similar role with astrong understanding of plumbing codes and safetyregulations.
  • Excellentobservational and analytical skills for assessing plumbinginstallations and identifyingissues.
  • Strongcommunication skills for interacting with plumbers contractors andmunicipalofficials.
  • Detailorientedwith strong organizational skills for managing inspection reportsandrecords.
  • Abilityto stay current with evolving plumbing codes regulations andindustrypractices.
