Line Cook (Summer 2024)

Location: Blue River,BC

Type: Seasonal, Full-Time

Reports to: SaddleMountain Restaurant Head Chef & Sous Chef

A Day in the Life of a Line Cook:

1. Maintain the highest level of quality freshnutritious meals for guests.

2. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the entirekitchen.

3. Follow all health and safety regulations andcontrol all waste.

4. Check fridge, inventory, and prep list daily.

5. Clean fridges on regular basis.

6. Prep food for following day.

7. Cooperation - working jointly with otherstowards our common goal of guest/staff satisfaction.

8. Communicate all problems and / or ideas to yoursupervisor.

9. Be professional in everything you say and do.

10. Must be punctual for work shift.

11. Perform all duties and responsibilities in atimely and effective manner within company policies.

12. May be called upon to perform other dutiescomparable to the above, as the aforementioned describes only the primaryduties of the job.

Requirements:

1. Summer season position based in Blue River, BC

2. University or College Diploma in a Culinaryfield preferred.​

3. Certified Chef designation preferred.

4. Food Safe Certification and WHMIS required.

5. Two to three years experience in a similarposition.

6. Must be able to frequently bend and kneel, liftmoderate weight, and work on feet for an extended period of time.

7. Ability to communicate effectively.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.

9. Willing to work a variety of day and weekendshifts.

10. Attributes include energetic personality,punctuality, and good grooming standards.

Compensation:

$21.60 per hour, plus season completion bonus $1 per hour
