Main duties of the job

As a Bank Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will

provide high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in both primary care and acute care needs in a prison setting - performing procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care, working as part of a team of primary care nurses, and delivering care to patients both within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/ blocks.

Requirements

Qualified Paramedic Current professional registration (HCPC) Proven post-registration ambulance experience Evidence of continued professional development Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness Excellent communication skills
