Senior Specialist, Cyber Security and Technology Risk, Toronto, ON

What you will do:
As part of the cyber security team within PC Financial & Services (PCF&S), you will help uplift the cloud control environment and manage cybersecurity risk. You will ensure we enable our technology and business partners to implement new products, services, and platforms quickly and securely to better serve our customers while maintaining our ability to react swiftly and contain cyber threats effectively. The team you join will support colleague and vendor teams that operate across Canada, and work closely with other company partners, including privacy, legal, risk management, information technology, and business stakeholders. You will work with teams from across the PCF&S group within the Loblaw family of companies, along with key suppliers, partners, vendors, and managed service providers. Contribute to maturing security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) programs and frameworks. This will include uplifting third-party risk assessment processes and partnering with Technology and Business groups to ensure early engagement for new initiatives to catch issues earlier and remediate gaps quicker. Provide cyber advisory & consultation services to support the secure design and implementation of technology solutions, develop automated cloud security solutions and document-related processes, patterns, procedures, and runbooks. Help champion a culture of security awareness, accountability/alignment to Enterprise Security Policies & Standards. Conduct security assessments, reviews and testing of internal projects, programs, and technology implementations. Execute third-party cyber risk assessments for new and existing third-party relationships. Interpret business and technology requirements, review architecture diagrams and solution designs and perform Threat Risk Assessments to identify potential security concerns and provide sound recommendations for risk remediation/management. Stay abreast of and advise the organization on current cyber security threats, emerging technologies and risk, related compliant/regulatory requirements and contribute to operational excellence and efficiencyWhat you will need:
Proven experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Working knowledge of securing cloud workloads, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or willingness to complete CCSP promptly Professional Security Certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GIAC) or willingness to obtain a security certification within one year Cloud security training on GCP and/or Azure, coding skills in Python or equivalent an asset Knowledge on information technology, security technology, security threats, risk management, GRC workflows and security trends Conceptual knowledge around firewalls, intrusion prevention, privileged access management, and SIEM technologiesWhat Loblaw Offers You
