Looking to develop your career at the forefront of a rapidly expanding industry? Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Writer co-op to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for the various pillars of Information Technology. The Technical Writer co-op will work closely with our IT professionals to produce high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and accurate. Key Accountabilities: Assist in writing and maintaining technical and employee-facing documentation, including user guides, manuals, and online help systems Work with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical and employee-facing content Ensure technical and employee-facing documentation is written in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner Update and maintain existing technical and employee-facing documentation as necessary Assist in reviewing and editing technical and employee-facing documentation created by others Ensure all technical and employee-facing documentation is compliant with company standards and formatting guidelines Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related program Strong proficiency in tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience in creation of Information Technology documentation, policies, and procedures Ability to build and earn trust of co-workers and clients quickly Friendly, positive demeanor Note : The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.
