Purpose of Role: The Welder will be responsible for the welding and repair of pump parts. They will be fusing metal materials together using high heat equipment and welding processes such as MIG and Stick techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Read Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints to assure accurate fabrication and weld buildup Inspect Parts: Evaluate used parts for repair and determine best approach Welding: MIG/Stick welding; repair worn and/or defective parts. Welding of specialty materials Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

CWB Certified 2+ years of welding experience Mining industry experience
