About the Associate-Health Care Intern Position:

As an associate intern, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. Associate interns can expect to work on multiple projects at a time. As an associate intern, you will play a critical role in driving the research, analysis, and strategy of cases. Responsibilities and work experiences across consulting engagements vary widely by project and may include:

Developing, designing, and conducting research studies to address our clients’ needs; Performing quantitative and qualitative research; Collaborating with academic and in-house experts; Performing analyses and presenting results; Preparing project deliverables and publications in peer-reviewed literature; Collaborating on authorship of research publications; Thinking creatively about how leading-edge analytics and emerging data sources address clients’ most pressing business challenges; Coordinating multiple work-streams or analyses within a case team, including both the work product and the team members involved in it.

A graduate degree focus in biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, health economics, health policy, mathematics, public health, statistics, or related quantitative disciplines. A Ph.D. in progress (priority given to students in their 3rd or 4th year) or an MBA, MBA/MPH, or a MS in progress with at least 4 years of experience of applying quantitative methods to real-world research problems in the health care industry or experience in market access and/or health care consulting.  MBA, MBA/MPH, or a MS in progress with at least 4 years of experience of applying quantitative methods to real-world research problems in the health care industry or experience in market access and/or health care consulting. Passion for using data and analytics to solve the economic and business challenges our clients face in the life sciences industry. Expertise in areas such as health economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, statistics, or related fields and a strong track record of applying quantitative methods to real-world research problems, preferably in health care research. Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (e.g. SAS, Stata, S-Plus, R) is highly preferred. Strong, oral, and written communication skills, and a focus on attention to detail. A strong academic record. Effectively works independently and within a team. A desire to continuously learn and develop professionally. Le poste de Responsable de projets -Économie de la santé, biostatistique, et épidémiologie (stage) :

En tant que responsable de projets stagiaire, vous aurez l’occasion de travailler sur des problèmes commerciaux complexes dans un environnement inclusif et collaboratif. Le(la) responsable de projets stagiaire travaille en général sur plusieurs projets à la fois, et prend en charge la recherche, l’analyse et la stratégie de chaque projet. Les responsabilités et tâches qui lui incombent peuvent varier selon les dossiers et les client(e)s et inclure les éléments suivants :

Élaborer, concevoir et mener des études pour répondre aux besoins des client(e)s ; Réaliser des études quantitatives et qualitatives ; Collaborer avec des expert(e)s internes et issu(e)s du monde universitaire ; Réaliser des analyses et en présenter les résultats ; Préparer des livrables relatifs au projet et des publications pour des revues à comité de lecture ; Participer à la rédaction de publications scientifiques ; Faire preuve de créativité en réfléchissant à la manière dont les méthodes d’analyse de pointe et les sources de données émergentes peuvent être utilisées pour relever les défis commerciaux critiques auxquels nos client(e)s sont confronté(e)s ; Assurer la coordination d’axes de travail ou d’analyses multiples au sein d’une équipe chargée d’un projet, dont la coordination du travail produit et celle des membres de l’équipe impliqué(e)s.

Être étudiant(e) au doctorat (priorité aux étudiant(e)s de 3e et 4e année) en biostatistique, épidémiologie, économie de la santé, politiques de santé, mathématiques, santé publique, santé environnementale, statistiques ou domaine quantitatif connexe ; Être étudiant(e) à une maîtrise en administration des entreprises couplée, éventuellement, à une maîtrise de santé publique ou d’une maîtrise de sciences avec, au minimum, 4 ans d’expérience dans l’application de méthodes quantitatives à la résolution de problèmes de recherche ayant une incidence sur le monde réel dans l’industrie des soins de santé ou en accès au marché et/ou en conseil en soins de santé ; Être passionné(e)s par l’utilisation de données et de l’analyse afin de répondre aux défis économiques et commerciaux auxquels nos client(e)s du secteur des sciences de la vie sont confronté(e)s ; Posséder une expertise dans des domaines tels que l’économie de la santé, la biostatistique, l’épidémiologie, les statistiques ou domaines connexes, et avoir fait leurs preuves en matière d’application de méthodes quantitatives à la résolution de problèmes de recherche – de préférence en soins de santé – ayant une incidence sur le monde réel ; Maîtriser de préférence au moins un langage de programmation statistique (tel que SAS, Stata, S-Plus, R, etc.) est fortement souhaité ; Posséder d’excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite et avoir le souci du détail ; Avoir un excellent dossier scolaire ; Être à l’aise dans un environnement de travail collaboratif et avoir la capacité à travailler efficacement de manière indépendante ; Désirer apprendre et se perfectionner continuellement ; Être ouvert(e)s d’esprit et chercher à s’améliorer, posséder d’excellentes aptitudes pour les relations interpersonnelles et être capables de travailler avec des personnes de tous horizons.
