Hearing Aid Specialist

Required Education and Experience: High school graduation or equivalent; Hearing Aid dispensing license and minimum two years experience as a Hearing Aid Specialist.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Strong hearing aid sales record.
Essential Functions
Select and fit hearing aids for customers.
Administer and interpret tests of hearing under the direct supervision of the Otolaryngologists.
Assess hearing instrument efficacy. Take ear impressions and prepare, design, and modify ear molds.
Assess and measure hearing loss of patient. Explain options, warranties and usage of hearing aid and care.
Sell hearing aids and accessories including batteries, special products, or any other product available
Perform an initial exam under the direct supervision of the Otolaryngologists; evaluate medical records and physician's referral. Keep records and documentation of evaluations and sales.
Work collaboratively with the Audiologists.
