Job Description

About The Role:

  • Lead the analytical work – develop insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem solving & building models to support key decisions surrounding seasonal prices, as well as LT pricing strategies globally
  • Manage & communicate global price lists for all regions (NA, EMEA, APAC), ensuring that Planning, Sales Teams & Store Ops have the required information as they Go to Market
  • Lead the competitive research work – support in developing a center of excellence around competitive price landscaping for current & future product categories
  • Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners in Planning, Finance, Merchandising, Sourcing, Business Insights, Store Operations, Logistics & E-com
  • Lead the development of tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Pricing team. Including but not limited to: Building PowerBI Dashboards, Excel Macros/Python, competitor website scraping scripts
  • Support the internal control process by suggesting improvements & providing required information during audit walkthroughs, sample testing and more
  • Support Pricing-related projects & problem solve if there are any roadblocks along the way. Including by not limited to: Price Elasticity, Global Pricing Index, Global E-com
  • Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Lead the development of tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Pricing team
  • Support Pricing-related projects (Price Elasticity, Global Pricing Index, etc) & problem solve if there are any roadblocks along the way
  • Support the training & coaching of new team members

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a pricing-related position for an apparel company or retailer
  • Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations on pricing questions
  • Proven ability to build models, strong MS Excel skills & experience in coding
  • Experience with or interest in financial analysis tools – such as PowerBI, SQL and/or data warehousing tools, a strong asset
  • Problem solver – can structure, break down, and solve complex business issues
  • Analytical – can analyze and draw conclusions from large and/or complex data sources (both qualitative and quantitative data sets)
  • Financial acumen – understands financial analysis/working knowledge of financial statements
  • Product-oriented – is passionate about product
  • Communicator – can synthesize ideas and thinking for sharing with others
  • Collaborative – able to partner with other functions/business leaders on complex problems and business issues
  • Intellectually curious – has a passion for business and apparel/fashion, enjoys solving problems
  • Action-oriented – enjoys translating recommendations into actions
